Timber Lodge
It’s the first building guests see as they arrive, setting the tone for weddings, reunions, banquets, and celebrations hosted here.
Originally built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Timber Lodge is the centerpiece event space at Camp Lakeview—a nearly 2,000-square-foot log structure that pairs historic craftsmanship with updated, event-ready finishes.
With room for up to 175 guests indoors, a full commercial kitchen, and a large adjoining grassy lawn for ceremonies or outdoor gatherings, the Timber Lodge gives you the space to host dinner, speeches, dancing, and everything in between without feeling cramped or rushed—all just a quick walk away from our lakeside beach and water access.

You’ll find the tools, cookware, and service ware needed to prepare and serve meals for up to 175 guests—right down to the silverware—making it easy for caterers, private chefs, or family-style hosts to execute seamlessly without hauling in an entire mobile kitchen.
The Little Black Chapel
Situated beside the Cedar Lodge, The Little Black Chapel offers a striking, modern interpretation of the traditional ceremony space.
Its bold black exterior and bright white interior create a clean, focused backdrop that photographs beautifully and keeps the attention where it belongs.
Designed for intimate weddings and meaningful gatherings, the chapel provides a distinct, standalone setting that pairs naturally with receptions and celebrations hosted in our adjoining lodge spaces.
The Little Black Chapel is also available for smaller events beyond weddings, and with movable pews, the space can be reconfigured to suit dinners, meetings, celebrations, or private gatherings.

The Cedar Lodge
Built in the 1940s as a retreat center for officers of the Army Air Corps, the Cedar Lodge feels exactly like what it is—a true lakeside lodge with decades of stories in its walls.
The two-story, 17,000 square foot cedar structure rises above Lake Tanwax with hand-laid logs, creaking floors, and the kind of warmth you can’t manufacture.
It’s the place where bunk rooms fill with cousins or bridesmaids, where coffee starts early in the commercial kitchen downstairs, and where evenings end upstairs in the fireside lounge with piano music drifting through the wood beams.
Bring-Your-Own Bedding
The Cedar Lodge includes 14 bunk-style bedrooms, each furnished with two twin bunk beds, allowing you to sleep up to 53 guests under one roof. The layout is intentionally simple and retreat-style—designed to maximize capacity and keep group lodging affordable compared to booking dozens of separate hotel rooms or vacation rentals.
Guests are asked to bring their own bedding, including sheets, blankets, and pillows. This approach keeps costs down while giving your group the flexibility to host large gatherings, retreats, reunions, or wedding parties without the price tag that typically comes with accommodations of this size.
